Sustained Interference:-

“The interference in which the positions of maxima and minima remain fixed all along the screen is called as sustained interference.

Conditions for sustained interference:-

1. Two light source should be coherent.
2. The two source should be marrow (point source).
3. The source should be close to each other.
4. The sources should be strong.
5. Light from the sources should be chromatic.
