Drug Target Interaction

Engyme:- Protein molecular in body which perform as a biological catalyst are called Engymes.

Receptor:- These are the carriers which receives the action of any drug molecular in the body.

Receptor as drug targets:- These are the proteins which have crucial role. In communication or actions of drug molecular in the body these receptor proteins are present in the surface of cell membranes. Some chemical which convey the messages or impulses between Neuron or two different body parts, are called chemical messengers.These chemical messenger binds to the receptors and convey their message. By this, they activate the natural functioning of receptors. In the body but the drugs that binds to the receptors site and inhibit the natural functioning are called antagonists.

Drugs that binds to the receptor sites and stimulate or activate the natural functioning of body cells are known as Agonists.
