Difference between DNA and RNA
1) DNA consists deoxiribose sugar and RNA consists of ribose sugar.
2) RNA has additional –oh group at 2’ end in ribose sugar which makes it more reative then DNA.
3) RNA has urecial in place of thymine.
4) RNA is less stable. RNA mutate at faster rates.
5) RNA directly codes for protein synthesis. But DNA is dependent upon RNA for the same.
6) DNA is more useful for storage of genetic information and RNA is for transmission of information.
