Types of diseases in human beings:

An abnormal condition of the body or mind that causes discomfort to us is called disease.

It is further of two types:

• Infectious: It is easily transmitted from infected person to others. Vectors that spread such diseases are called pathogens.

For example; HI.

• Non-infectious: It is not transmitted from infected person to others. Caused by some disorders and genetic reasons.

For example; cancer.
