Trophic level:-

It is nutrition arrangement of produces and consumers in an ecosystem.

Or

It is a relation of eating and being eaten in organism of a community.

Trophic level represent rank of individual not a single individual. Length of irophic level is limited upto 6 levels because energy level decreases successively.

• Producers occupies Ist trophic level.
• Primary consumer occupies IInd trophic level.
• Secondary consumer occupies IIIrd trophic level.

But decomposes occupy last or climate trophic level.

Omnivores occupy more than one trophic level.

Micro-organisms are not included in trophic level.
