Thermodynamics Process
Thermodynamics process & its types
A process gives the path or operation by which a system changes from one state to other.
Types of process-
(1) Isothermal process → A process in which temp. of the system remain constant.
(2) Adiabatic process → A process in which the system does not exchange heat with surrounding, no heat leaves or embolus the system, temp. of the system always changes.
(3) Isobaric process → A process in which pressure of the system remain constant is known as isobaric process.
(4) Isochoric process → A process in which the volume of the system remains constant is known as isochoric process.
(5) Cyclic process → A process in which the system undergoes series of changes & ultimately returns to the original state is known as cyclic process.
(6) Reversible process → A person in which the direction may be reversed at any stage by applying a small change in a variables like temp., pressure, etc.
