CLASSIFICATION OF ELEMENTS AND PERIODICITY IN PROPERTIES

Elements:- An element is usually defined as the simplest form of a pure substance v, definite physical and chemical properties and which can neither be broken into nor built from simple substances by any chemical physical method.

Elements:-

(i) Metals    

(ii) Metalloids       

(iii) Non-Metals.

Need To classify Elements:-  As we know periodic table consists of large no. elements Its very difficult to study each element individually. So for systematic study of elements in groups is the need for classification of elements
