1. Diffusion: It is movement of particles of a matter due to their kinetic energy.

 - It takes place from higher concentration of particles of a matter to region of lower concentration.

Factors affecting Diffusion:

1. Temp: As temperature increase kinetic energy of particles energy of particles so as diffusion.
2. Concentration Gradient: Rate of diffusion increase with more concentration.
3. Density: Rate of diffusion of substance is inversely proportional to square root of their densities.
4. Concentration of medium: The rate of diffusion will decrease as the density of medium increases.
