Introduction

Introduction:

Some substance must heed to be eliminated out of body like ammonia, Uric acid, Uria, Co2, water, either or by other means like excretion or egestion etc. Mostly excretory waste products are PROTEINACEOUS in nature, they are the end product of protein metabolism. There are 3 main waste materials mostly eliminated by animals: Ammonia, Urea and uric acid.

Ammoniotelism

Ureotelism

Uricotelism

It means the elimination of ammonia as main nitrogenous waste material of excretion.

It means the elimination of urea as main excretory product.

It means elimination of uric acid as main excretory product.

Animals releasing ammonia are called ammoniotelic.

Animals releasing urea are called ureotelic.

It means elimination of uric acid as main excretory product.

It is very toxic.

It is less toxic.

It is least toxic.

Shown by aquatic animals mostly be because ammonia is very toxic so it releases with large amount of water. So shown by aquatic animals only.

Ex. Amoeba, bony fish.

Shown by both aquatic as well as Land animals.

Ex. Mammals, amphibians alligators, cartilaginous fish.

Ex. Shown, insects, birds, reptiles.

They are many other waste materials like Co2, water, salts, pigments, drugs, vitamins, hormones, nitrogenous wastes, spices etc.
