Absorption

Absorption:

When food get digested, then its absorable form get absorbed by villi & micro villi of small intestine.

And this process of uptake of soluble dissolved food material through different suitable processes, is called absorption of food.

(Absorption of fats):

Firstly fatly acids, mono – di – glycosides combine with bile salts and phosphate to form water soluble micelles. Then, these micelles are absorbed into intestinal cells. In these cells,  bile salts are freed & fatty acid – di – mono – glycrides again resynthesise  into fats (trigblcerides).

The fats are then mixed with cholesterol & coated with protein & form chylo-microns. This form of fats is absorable & goes into blood & lymph stream.
