Difference between chordates and non-chordates:

Chordates: Notochord, gill slits and post anal tail all are present. Central nervous system is dorsal and heart is ventral.

Non-Chordates: Notochord, gill slits and post anal tail all are absent. Central nervous system is ventral and heart is dorsal (if present).
